Everything O Scale

The usual route for a model railroad custom builder goes from a modeler with unusual skills who models for himself, to one who is asked to work for friends, to one who progresses to the point his products are in general demand and he can command a fee for his modeling services.

I started building model airplanes and trains at age 8. As a teenager I was the youngest member of the Cherry Valley Model Railroad Club. I earned ice cream money from doing work for the members including such notables as Ace Campbell, George Zane, Bill Pierson and Lou Pardee. I became active in O’Scale in 1980’s. In 1993 I won 10 awards at the PRR THS contest. I went full time in 1998.

I have the capacity to scratch build brass locomotives and structures rolling stock, kit bashing, custom modifications, custom painting and weathering

My structure line is a dream come true. I probably enjoy designing and building the hydrocal resin structures as much as anything else I do.
