In years past I have concentrated on engine and rolling stock, but now realize these are just the actors and scenery is the backdrop and setting through which the actors pass.  Also “O” structures are large enough to fill a whole scene, and serve as backdrop too. The advent of hydrocal/RTV and resin make this a reality and with modular construction very large buildings can be designed so transportation is more efficient. I try to breakdown the large buildings into small super detailed scenes with modified figures conveying action, thus demanding a closer look. My product line will stick to actual railroad prototypes, as I feel there were more than enough beautiful examples in the heyday of the railroads.
